First and foremost, we'd like to apologize to our readers for the interruption of service. Several factors contributed to the lack of updates. The implosion of the Internet advertising market hit us hard. A planned redesign and back-end revamp scheduled to take no more than six weeks stretched into more than six months. And various staff issues distracted our attention.

We've got it all straightened out now, though, and we're ready to earn your trust again, with exclusive stories, on-the-spot reviews and insightful interviews. Please note that the only part of WRE that will be consistently updated is our gaming section. We've noticed that's where the majority of interest lies among our readers, so we'll be focusing all of our efforts there. We will, however, be keeping our movie and music archives alive and available, allowing you to relive some of our greatest hits (whatever you do, don't miss the interviews with Jennifer Aniston, Neve Campbell and Vanilla Ice).

For now, archive material is limited as we cover the breaking news events of E3, but we expect to have all the old stories converted and available by the end of June. In the meantime, you can expect the same thorough coverage of the gaming industry trade show we've provided for the past five years.
