Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
Welcome to the new standard in action war games. We walked through two levels of MoH's PC debut and the tension level the game creates wasn't rivaled - hell, even approached - by any action game at E3. The Quake III engine shines. The scripting is better than most Hollywood releases. And the comparisons you've been hearing to Saving Private Ryan aren't just hyperbole. Games like Half-Life and System Shock II did a great job of scaring the pants off us, but Medal of Honor does so in an entirely different fashion. As the bullets whiz by your head and you see your brothers-in-arms being mowed down by a Nazi attack, you can begin to imagine the terror WWII soldiers might have felt. Go get in line for this one now.
